BioCanon Background (condensed and made easier to process):
Setsuna seemed like a normal teenager, at first. Sure, if you include the fact his mother hates him (no, not in the emo kid way, I mean she really hates him), his father's always ditching him to go off with his fling from the office, the kids at school hate him because he's 1/4th British and has blond hair, his best friend has had to literally save his life (none of this over-exaggerating business for this kid), and he's in love with his sister. Sure. Normal. Then he finds out he's actually a reincarnated angel and bad things happen to him because she was cursed. Oh yeah, that's another thing; the angel was female.
Alexiel is a whole other kettle of fish, so let's skip her. Well, okay, I guess you need to know she went against the host of Heaven because she disliked how they did things, went up against her twin brother, then got caught by Heaven's current "leader", was charged, then punished by having a curse placed on her and being reincarnated into painful life after painful life. Thanks to Nanatsusaya interfering at one point she got to be a guy in one of her reincarnations, though. That would be Setsuna.
Anyhow, Alexiel's twin brother Rosiel is brought back from imprisonment -- that Alexiel banished him to (did I forget to mention that?) -- uses Katou (he's this guy at Setsuna's school, one of Kira's friends, and Kira is Setsuna's best friend) to "kill" Kira, Setsuna loses it, Alexiel surfaces, partially, they kill Katou. He ends up confessing his love to his sister, Sara, just as she's about to leave for England with their mother, and Sara runs off with him. Sara gets killed saving Setsuna, Setsuna loses it and almost destroys the entire world. Then he ends up going to Hades to look for Sara, then Hell for Kurai, then Heaven for Sara, again. Needless to say he would literally tear up the universe to find her if parted from her.
Lots of people die, Kira dies, becomes Lucifer, fights against Setsuna. Katou dies, again. In fact, several times. Then at the end Setsuna learns the truth about Heaven and God and teams up with Lucifer to kill God. Seriously.
...except, he hasn't done that just yet. He was about to enter God's chamber when he was pulled into the Room of Requirement, leaving him completely baffled. Now he's got to figure all this out and look for a way out, only, that'll probably not happen.

appledcore, nothing more. Setsuna Mudou, from Angel Sanctuary, belongs fully to Yuki Kaori, and I'm not him, nor do I think myself him. I simply enjoy RPing as tenacious brats.
